At the 11th hour, Erickson, a veteran and MVP of the Castro League last season, has decided to change his team name from Multiple Scorgasms to The gleeK Squad.
After watching last night’s episode of Glee, Erickson, or Ling Ling as he refers to himself, was so inspired by the really gay show’s third episode that he had to move quickly.
Erickson (pictured left) mass-texted the league commissioners about his epiphany at 8:17 the next morning.
The Castro League commissioners, with unlimited text plans, nothing better to do, and thought they were done organizing the league, changed the really-easy-to-do league schedules and simple chicken-scratch documents that they so quickly prepared to allow for this last-minute, very important, earth-shattering change.
Though whatever-Erickson’s-team-name-is has a bye tonight, come check out the other games of the Castro league.
Amongst tonight’s games are between team names that were not changed, such as Nothing butt Rimm, Backdoor Pass, and The Bloodless. The games start tonight at 7pm at the Castro gym (100 Collingwood @ 18th street).
