The 24th Castro League Playoffs begin tonight featuring the #1 seed Hi Tops (and Bottoms) taking on #4 seed Passion Posse at 7 pm. After the game, we’ll be holding our second annual Castro Fun Gayme which brings players from both divisions together for a casual match. Stick around after the game and come to the Mix for a drink!

Tonight is also special in that the SFGBA will be featured in local literary magazine McSweeney’s: Al Saracevic, the sports editor at the SF Chronicle is doing a piece on rec league basketball for McSweeney’s (of Dave Eggers fame) and will be roaming around interviewing players, coaches and the commissioners before and after the games – it will be a fun piece.
