S.O.S.

The San Francisco S.O.S., or Sisters of Sushi, began as a Dallas team headed by captain Konata.

Over time, the team featured many players from San Francisco, including Kurt DeGroot, Sean Burns, Brian Pearlman, and P. Worthing (as well as Laz and Jeff Edmonds), that the team adopted San Francisco as their representation in 2009.

In the 2010 Gay Games held in Cologne, Germany, after defeating the San Francisco Shock in the semi-finals, the SF S.O.S. brought home a silver medal in the “B” division. That team consisted of Rob Smitherman, Jeff, Kurt, Sean, Paul, Brian, Dave, Mark Satre, and Sam Coady.
