We are Accepting Waitlist Registrations for the Fall 2026 Season

The fall league season will run every Wednesday evening from August 26 - November 18 at the Eureka Valley Rec Center (100 Collingwood St.) in San Francisco. We are inclusive of all gender identities, gender expressions, sexual orientations, and skill levels. Our roster is currently full, but we are still accepting waitlist registrations via the instructions below.

Email us at leaders@sfgba.com with questions.

Player Fee: $150 (includes 10 regular games, at least 1 guaranteed playoff game, referees, time keepers, and end-of-season player awards)

How to Register for the Waitlist:

1) Fill out this online form completely by Saturday, August 18, and don't forget to hit "Submit" at the end.

2) Registrants on the waitlist are not required to submit the player fee until they have received an email from SFGBA leaders notifying them that a spot on the roster has opened up. At that point, they will be asked to Venmo the player fee to @SFGayBasketball.

3) Read SFGBA's code of conduct and rules / regulations on our league webpage. Monitor your email for a message from us confirming your spot before the season begins.

Additional Info:

We've been excited to see the SFGBA player community steadily grow the last few seasons as rosters have filled up early leading us to have to waitlist players. This accommodation worked out well in the spring, so this fall SFGBA will again incorporate 6 teams (instead of our typical 5 teams) of 9 players each, as long as enough players register. The number of games each Wednesday will be 3 instead of 2. Games will begin promptly at 7pm, 8pm AND 9pm sharp. There will be NO bye weeks; all teams will play every Wednesday during the 10-week regular season. If we don't receive enough registrations for 6 teams and 3 games per night, we will revert to 5 teams and 2 games per night, and 2 bye weeks for each team. Scroll down for our league’s code of conduct and rules and regulations.

SFGBA holds two seasons per year. The spring season typically begins in March with registration opening in January. The fall season typically begins in August with registration opening in July.
